TourMeOn ("we") publishes travel guides at tourmeon.com. This page explains what we collect, why, and how affiliate links work on the site.
What we collect
- Page views. Our own server records which page was viewed, a general device type (mobile, tablet or desktop), whether it is a first or returning visit, and a short anonymous device hash derived from browser characteristics. We do not use it to identify you.
- Outbound link clicks. When you click a link to another website, we record the destination, the link text and the page you were on, so we know which guides are useful.
- Local storage. We store one small flag in your browser to tell first visits from returning ones.
We do not run advertising pixels or social media tracking on TourMeOn.
Affiliate links
Some links are affiliate links, marked with #ad and the attributes rel="nofollow sponsored". If you book through them, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. To manage these links, a script from our affiliate network, Travelpayouts, loads after the page has finished loading and may convert plain links to partners such as Expedia or Aviasales into tracked links. Travelpayouts and the destination sites may set their own cookies under their own privacy policies.
We do not currently run a newsletter or collect email addresses. If that changes, we will ask for clear consent first and update this page.
Prices and safety information
Prices on TourMeOn are estimates labelled with when they were checked. Safety guidance is general and never a guarantee. Always confirm details with operators and current official advisories.
Your choices
You can clear local storage or block third-party scripts in your browser at any time; the site will continue to work.
