About

Hi, I am Maya. Your narrator.

Maya is the voice of TourMeOn: a steady, practical travel companion for women who want the freedom of travelling on their own without paying for two. She is an editorial persona, not a single person's diary, and that distinction shapes everything we publish.

Why TourMeOn exists

Too much travel is priced, planned and photographed for two. Single supplements, couple-sized rooms and tours that assume a companion quietly tell women travelling alone that they are the exception. They are not. TourMeOn is written for women roughly 30 to 55 who are ready to go, for remote workers and long-stayers, and for empty-nesters taking the trip they postponed.

How we work

  • No fabricated experiences. Maya does not claim trips, meals or encounters that did not happen. Guides are built from official sources, operator information, public listings and reader questions.
  • Prices are estimates. Every figure is labelled with when it was checked. Confirm before you book.
  • Safety without fear. We share habits and preparation. We never say a place is guaranteed safe, and we point you to current official advisories.
  • Clear disclosures. Affiliate links are marked #ad and use sponsored link attributes. Commissions never decide what we recommend.

Where we are going

We are launching with Mexico and Central America. Europe by rail and Southeast Asia are coming soon. When they arrive, they will be held to the same standard.
